Is UPA Govt. really of the people, for the people, by the people???

After many years in the history of free India, any government was selected by the people to rule the nation
UPA Achievements in terms of Corruption
for a second consecutive term. India gave UPA (United Progressive Alliance) a second chance, in 2009, to control and manage the administration of the world’s largest democracy. But I am sure people may defiantly be repenting upon their decision.
The central UPA government which boasted of a slogan “CONGRESS KA HAATH, AAM AADMI KE SAATH” has changed the actual meaning of this slogan. On one side, the nation is reeling under financial crunch with the inflation rate reaching all time high, poor man dying due to his inability to secure a two time bare meal for himself. Whereas, on the other side, Cabinet rank Ministers and other organization heads are busy filling their houses, (sorry houses would be a very small term to use, so better say their Swiss Bank Accounts) with the lakhs of crores of rupees simply stolen from the national exchequer. Multi lakh crore 2G spectrum scam, multi crore CWG scam are world famous and few to mention. In the UPA govt, we can barely find a minister who is in possession of assets less than crores of rupees and is free from any scam or corruption charges. But still, on the issue of inflation the government officials comment that we are trying our level best and it is not in our hands. Shame on the Government of India. Is the Prime Minister not answerable for his council of ministers?

What can be done when the ‘law makers’ themselves become ‘law breakers’?

The Honourable Supreme Court should intervene in the best possible way and take a control over this pitiable situation of our country. All these ‘criminals’ be thrown behind the bars for this unpardonable crime of looting the National Exchequer, which comprises of the hard-earned money of Indian middle class. The person found guilty of corruption should be awarded capital punishment.
